The year when exotic cars appeared to the public was considered to be in 1910. This car was called the 1910 Prince Henry. Many people will have different opinions of what sports cars are but I am sharing my opinion of what sports have been in the past and how they evolved to present day. The first type of car that appeared to the public was pulled by a horse, camel, or dogs. The cars were more like wagons that got pulled by one of the three animals mentioned before. No one knows which animal people used first to pull the people wagons. In 1680 Christiaan Huygens built an internal combustion engine fuelled by gunpowder. In 1826 Samuel Brown altered a steam engine to burn gasoline and put it on a carriage. In 1873 George Brayton developed a two-stroke kerosene engine. In 1895 Rudolf Diesel patented the diesel engine that was an efficient, internal combustion engine. As you can see many people came up with new inventions for the car and put them all together. Eventually they evolved to the cars we have today but it all started with many ideas from many men. By the early 1900's their were over 100 different brands of horseless carriages in the United States. Later in the 1900's cars developed more brands of cars. Every new model of car each year would gain upgrades over the previous year. The cars would become more safe each year to protect people from getting severely injured. Up to this year cars have developed, from an animal towing a carriage to self-driving cars. Many people have invested their time into creating new features for cars which has been a success. Without the hard work and dedication from many people, who knows what cars would be like today.
